PRODUCTION TERMS
Event - Each order is broken down into multiple events. Each event is a different activity that is required to be completed so that the entire order can be completed for delivery to the customer. For example - an order might have 3 locations decorator. The front, back, and custom neck tags. Each location is scheduled as a separate event in SOSA.
Imprint - The complete decoration of 1 location on a garment. Example - 100 shirts with a front and back location = 200 Imprints.
Producible - The state of an event is in when all assets are ready and prepared for the event to be produced. For example, the front location is considered "producible" when the shirts are 100% received, the screens are made, and the ink is ready.
Post Production - The state an order is in after all decoration is complete. Post production orders can be shipped or sent to our packaging department for further finishing steps.
Supervisor Sign Off - Supervisor sign-off elevates the attention of production leadership to ensure we have a complete quality imprint pre-run, mid-run, and post-run. Events with supervisor sign-off may require extra attention for a high risk client, a fix order that we are looking to ensure great quality assurance, a challenging production run, or a sample print.
Staged - A term used to describe when assets are delivered to a work station and laid out properly.
Assets - Assets are material needed in production to produce a job. Assets include the apparel, screens, ink, thread, etc...
